THERAPY AT THE CLUB
FLO · R&B and Pop
“Sixteen songs of club therapy and the only thing left untreated is the industry's fear of a concise tracklist.”

FLO's second album turns the club into a 16-song treatment plan, moving from pregame confidence through bad decisions to morning-after clarity. The trio's harmonies remain the main event, rich enough to make even a carefully branded concept feel lived in. At 46 minutes, the record sometimes lets its sleek R&B production sand away the odd edges that could make each stop in the night more distinct. Therapy may be expensive, but at least this session comes with a bassline and no clipboard.
The concept has an actual arc, the vocals sound assured and the collaborators serve FLO rather than replacing them. Darker club production gives the group room to grow without abandoning the harmonies that made the debut work.
The concept occasionally looks more polished than personal
“The album maps a full night out from preparation to reflection, but its immaculate sequencing can make the mess feel scheduled.”
The fix Leave one or two arrangements rough enough for the individual personalities to interrupt the campaign concept.
Sixteen tracks blur some of the emotional stops
“The 46-minute runtime is not bloated, yet several sleek transitions make distinct moments pass like rooms in the same club.”
The fix Give the turning points stronger changes in tempo, texture or perspective.
The production can crowd the trio's best asset
“A long collaborator list adds gloss, while FLO's stacked harmonies remain the element nobody else on the credits can supply.”
The fix Strip more choruses back and let the vocal blend carry the dramatic peak.
